Our two-day epoxy flooring class takes you from concrete prep to a finished polyaspartic topcoat, with hands-on floor time at every step.
Fundamentals
Cover chemistry basics, safety, tools, and moisture testing. Watch a grinding demo, then practice surface preparation on a live section of floor.
Base Coat Pour
Mix and pour a full epoxy base coat. Learn roller technique, back-rolling, edge work, and how to keep a wet edge on a large surface.
Metallic + Flake
Work two hands-on stations: pour a metallic epoxy floor and broadcast a flake system. You do both, with coaching on movement and pigment control.
Topcoat
Apply a polyaspartic floor coating as your topcoat, practice cove details, and troubleshoot common defects like fisheyes, bubbles, and roller marks live.

Do I need any experience?
No. The class is built to take a total beginner from concrete prep through a finished metallic pour. If you’ve done work before, you’ll still pick up technique.
What do I need to bring?
Just closed-toe shoes and clothes you don’t mind ruining. All resin, tools, PPE, coffee, and lunch are included in the $700.
Where does the class happen?
At the Chi Resin studio in Chicago, IL. You’ll get the exact address and parking details after you reserve your seat.
Is it refundable?
Full refund up to 14 days before the class. Inside 14 days, we’ll roll your seat to the next available cohort.
